This position will serve as the primary payroll preparer for the Psychology Department including the tasks associated with the hiring of new faculty, staff, graduate students and student employees.  Specific duties include: bi-weekly payroll time entry, change PAR's and terminations; coordinating travel arrangements; processing travel related pcard purchases; making conference registrations, and hotel reservations; preparing travel expense statements; coordinating all faculty and staff searches through Interfolio and PageUp; working with personnel in CAHSS Dean's office, Provost's office and HR to coordinate interviews, arranging travel for interviewees for faculty positions; pcard holder for travel related purchases, but also as backup for general office purchases, including pcard reallocation, maintaining pcard records per State of Maryland and University guidelines; entering requisitions for purchase order purchases into PeopleSoft Finance; coordinating department copiers, including ordering supplies and coordinating repair calls and training new employees on the use of the machines; coordinating  Dcard, parking permits and keys; and performing other duties as assigned

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a high school diploma or GED and three years experience providing administrative support preferably in a higher education setting.



Preferred Qualifications:  Experience with PeopleSoft Finance and HR preferred.
