Undergraduate Admissions and Orientation


The Transfer Coordinator serves as the main staff member within the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Orientation that recruits the transfer student population. As the university seeks growth in this area, this position will be responsible for recruiting over 5,000 prospective transfer students of which the university will enroll nearly 2,000 students annually.

The Transfer Coordinator manages, in conjunction with the Associate Director, the Transfer Student Alliance (TSA) program and develops engagement opportunities for prospective members and current members of TSA, which is now includes all twenty-three community colleges in Maryland.

In addition, the Transfer Coordinator visits community colleges and high schools, conducts presentations and information sessions, attends college fairs, reviews applications rendering appropriate admission decision; applies university policies and performs other duties as assigned.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and one year of related admissions and transfer support experience required. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Experience working within the University System of Maryland preferred.
