Responsibilities:

The incumbent will be responsible for the overall quality of life for residents living in one of the residential communities, each housing approximately 350-550 students.  Specific duties include: overseeing the management and administration of daily residential community operations; providing crisis response; serving in emergency “on-call” rotations; implementing developmental program curriculum; advising students; supervising student paraprofessionals/graduate students; aiding in the resolution of student conduct matters; regulating safety operations; performing collateral tasks including staff selection, training and development; summer conferences; and performing other duties as assigned.

Multiple positions are available to begin in June 2019.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a Master’s degree in Student Personnel Services, Student Development, Counseling, or a related area prior to the employment start date.  

Preferred Qualifications: 

Prior residence hall experience is desired. 

A solid foundation in human/student development theory and demonstrated ability to relate to a multi-cultural population are very desirable.
