Responsibilities:

Columbus Center Operations is seeking a professional Coordinator to manage the Columbus Center Event Program and to assist the Director of Administration with various contract agreements for facilities rentals, lease agreements and incubator agreements.  

Specific duties include:  recruiting events to be held at the Columbus Center; creating and providing quotes for event rentals and leasing of space; drafting event terms and agreements; developing marketing materials; scheduling Columbus Center building tours; managing the event process from the initial agreement to providing assistance and services as needed on the date of the event;  managing the building occupancy database and floor plans;  maintaining lease files; drafting  lease agreements for new tenants and modifications for existing tenants; co-managing IMET events with the IMET Assistant to the Director; updating the Columbus Center website; creating a monthly Columbus Center newsletter for building occupants; providing back up for other departmental related administrative functions such Procurement, Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable and Payroll/HR; and performing other duties as assigned.  

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Tourism Management, Business Management, Marketing or a related field.   Must be proficient using website and social media. 

Some evening and weekend hours required.

Preferred Qualifications: 

One to four years of experience providing event marketing and/or recruitment preferred.  Experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office programs strongly preferred. Experience with lease agreements and AutoCAD software a plus.
