Reporting to the Assistant Vice-Provost for Applied and Off-Campus Programs, this position will direct the Office of Professional Programs within the Division of Professional Studies (DPS). The Director will directly contribute to the university’s strategic enrollment growth efforts. 

Specific duties include planning, organizing, staffing, and directing all administrative aspects of DPS’ expanding portfolio of professional graduate programs. The Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Office of Professional Programs. The Director should be proficient with enrollment funnel methodology, budget management, faculty and student relations, and program marketing and recruitment. The Director will work closely with faculty, academic department chairs, college deans, and the Graduate School to establish and reach enrollment goals. In addition, the Director will work closely with Program Directors and DPS colleagues to identify opportunities for partnerships within local organizations and the greater business community. 

This position is responsible for the supervision and professional development of five employees. 

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a Master’s degree and at least seven years of professional experience in higher education enrollment management or program management.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Preference will be given to applicants with experience with graduate, hybrid, and online programs.
