The UMBC Athletics department is looking for a motivated self-starter with leadership qualities who will be responsible for all phases of UMBC Athletics ticketing operation.

This position is responsible for generating new business revenue through group ticket sales. Responsibilities include prospecting, selling, and fulfillment of sales as well as renewal of existing accounts.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate season ticket sales, corporate packages, partial ticket plans, group tickets, individual game tickets and retriever kids club.
  • Manage game-day ticketing duties, staff and supervise each event with appropriate box office personnel.
  • Work all home soccer and lacrosse games, performing various ticket sales and service duties.
  • Collaborate with Athletics Administration to enhance outbound ticket sales strategy and actively perform season ticket sales outreach.
  • Assist with the design, production, and distribution of season ticket guides and group ticket guides.
  • Compile and track all ticketing financial data including ticket revenue, attendance, and game settlements.
  • Serve as a key team member for all pricing and planning related to ticketed events.
  • Ensure the control and distribution of all tickets in accordance with established policies and NCAA regulations.
Required Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor's degree preferably in a related field and one year of experience in ticket sales, marketing & promotions or related field. Must have excellent communication, organizational, customer service and problem solving skills. The incumbent must be creative and well versed in ways to increase athletics ticketing revenue. Having the ability to function in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects to meet deadlines is required. Must have proficiency in basic computer software programs.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Master's degree preferred.
