Information Systems Department
The B2G Community Computing Learning Centers Program (B2G Program) within the IS department empowers community leaders and members with digital and tech training to reduce educational, health, and financial disparities in their neighborhoods. By connecting community leaders with university students, faculty, and local organizations, we create sustainable digital learning ecosystems that prepare community members for the digital economy. University students gain hands-on experience developing critical professional skills—including public speaking, active listening, providing positive feedback, teaching, translational research, and classroom management—while building meaningful partnerships that transform lives and strengthen communities.
