The incumbent will manage the design and construction process for new construction and renovation projects.

| Responsibilities: |
- Coordinate and lead project development activities from point of client conception to project completion.
- Support the procurement of and the administration of contracts for design and construction teams.
- Create, coordinate and facilitate project schedules.
- Prepare and maintain project budgets.
- Liaise between internal clients, campus administrators, and external contractors.
- Support development of and implementation of campus standards and management guidelines.
- Provide technical expertise in a professional field such as architecture, landscape architecture, electrical or civi engineering, interior design or other construction related field.
- Prioritize ongoing and new projects, as well as conduct research and gather information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

| Required Minimum Qualifications: |
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering (Electrical or Civic) or in a related field
- Three years experience in construction design and/or technical specilization.
- Must have well developed analytical,organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of principles and practices of project management and construction technologies
- Demonstrated ability to manage design and construction projects
- Proven consultation and change management skills
- Computer skills in relevant design and office applications.
- Class "C" driver's license valid in the State of Maryland

| Preferred Qualifications: |
- Five years in construction management technical specialization.
- Experience with architectural design, sustainable design, site design, storm water management, energy conserving measures, electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience with design and construction contract administration in occupied Higher Education setting.

| Salary: |
Salary: $113,000 - $123,045 depending on qualifications and experience.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
