| Position Overview: |
Working closely with the Manager of Systems and Technology and the Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions and Orientation, the IT Specialist serves as a key operational and technical contributor supporting admissions systems, data integrity, and process execution.

| Responsibilities: |
Working closely with the Manager of Systems and Technology and the Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions and Orientation, the IT Specialist serves as a key operational and technical contributor supporting admissions systems, data integrity, and process execution. The IT Specialist performs bulk data uploads, data corrections, duplicate resolution, account provisioning, report development, and data validation to ensure accuracy and compliance. The role participates in pre-production testing, peer review of changes, and error monitoring and escalation, while maintaining process documentation and supporting staff training. The IT Specialist also supervises a team of student workers (IT Grit Guides), providing task assignment, oversight, training, and quality review to ensure adherence to established procedures, data governance standards, security requirements, and operational continuity.

| Required Minimum Qualifications: |
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in information systems or a related field.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a role with responsibilities that include data analysis, reporting, and responding to user inquiries related to system access and functionality.
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.

| Preferred Qualifications: |
- Experience in process documentation and end-user training.
- Experience working with PeopleSoft Student Administration.
|

| Salary: |
Salary: $53,000-59,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
