Position Overview: |
The Identity and Access Management Engineer/Specialist assists in the design, implementation, integration and ongoing support of service/account provisioning integrations and the authentication and authorization tools that leverage these provisioned services. The incumbent will maintain and improve processes around: Account provisioning/deprovisioning, ERP integration, access management, and authentication for both UMBC hosted resources as well as SaaS and IaaP services. |

Responsibilities: |
A key contributor to university identity management initiatives, this position is part of a team responsible for enterprise-wide identity management and access control services. The incumbent assists in the design, implementation, integration and ongoing support of service/account provisioning integrations and the authentication and authorization tools that leverage these provisioned services. The incumbent will maintain and improve processes around: Account provisioning/deprovisioning, ERP integration, access management, and authentication for both UMBC hosted resources as well as SaaS and IaaP services. Additionally, this position will collaborate with others in the Division of Information Technology to ensure new system implementations are managed in alignment with existing strategies. |

Salary: |
Salary: $108,000 - $120,960 depending on qualifications and experience. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. |
