Position Overview: | Under the direction of the Associate Dean of Research, the Grants Writer and Development Specialist will support research and creative achievement initiatives and processes within the College of Engineering and Information Technology (COEIT). The successful candidate will have a proven track record in grants development, grant writing and/or grant administration in a higher education or non-profit environment. Collaborating with the COEIT - SSC pre-award team, the incumbent will enhance and expand the sponsored award services provided to COEIT faculty and staff. This position will help faculty identify internal and external funding opportunities; coordinate interdisciplinary and multi institution proposals; assist with drafting, formatting, and editing proposals; organize and/or develop training; and implement processes and procedures. |

Salary: |
Salary: $65,000 - $73,000 depending on qualifications and experience. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. |
