Position Overview: |
The Choice Program Service Coordinator for Community and Career Support provides high-quality, high-impact direct services to young people involved with the Department of Juvenile Services through community-based youth and family engagement. This position support the organization’s efforts to 1) disentangle young people from the youth legal system 2) improve wellbeing through goal creation and attainment and 3) increase economic opportunities for young people through vocational training. The Service Coordinator for Community and Career Support will maintain a caseload of up to 15 youth and their families, including bi- weekly contact in their homes, at school, or in the community. Service Coordinators guide the development of service plans, broker resources, and facilitate planning and implementation of youth activities, at times supported by volunteers and part-time mentors. Service Coordinators also work to reconnect youth to education, increased job skills, and job placements across Central Maryland, with a focus on programming in Anne Arundel County. |

Salary: $50,000 - $57,500 depending on qualifications and experience. The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. |
