Position Overview: |
The Associate Dean will serve as the Executive Director for USG Operations. This role is responsible for administering the day-to-day operations of CNMS satellite programs, which are presently the undergraduate Translational Life Sciences Technology (TLST) program and MPS: Biotechnology at UMBC, at the Universities at Shady Grove. This role will foster relationships with Shady Grove Administration and UMBC to collaboratively administer programs with the goal of program expansion. This will be accomplished with support from UMBC's CNMS Dean, Department of Professional Studies, interaction with Local Community Colleges, connecting with Local Biotech Businesses, and providing leadership to the Undergraduate and Graduate Program Directors. |

Required Minimum Qualifications: | Requires a PhD in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or other Life Sciences disciplines. Minimum three years teaching experience. |

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 depending on qualifications and experience. The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. |
