Position Overview: |
The Associate Director of Digital Trust will play a key role in supporting UMBC's Information Security program by monitoring the legislative and regulatory landscape and providing policy advice and recommendations on cybersecurity, privacy, artificial intelligence (AI), and other emerging technologies. They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining strategies and plans that align with relevant legislation and regulations and support the University's Digital Trust initiatives, such as the continuing development of our privacy program. Additionally, the position will serve as the Associate Director and program manager for UMBC's Cyber Range and Cybersecurity Clinic in association with the UMBC Cybersecurity Institute and the Maryland Institute for Innovative Computing (MIIC). In this capacity, the incumbent will lead, coordinate, and ensure the overall success of these programs, including communicating program details and maintaining alignment with organizational priorities. While this effort will be coordinated through the Division of Information Technology, the expected candidate will work closely with faculty associated with the UMBC Cybersecurity Institute. |

Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 depending on qualifications and experience. The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. |
