| Department: | The Choice Program at UMBC provides mentoring and advocacy services to young people, primarily Black and Latinx, throughout Central Maryland. | Position Overview: | The Personnel Coordinator for Training and AmeriCorps supports The Choice Program’s Personnel & Staffing Team by developing and facilitating staff and AmeriCorps training, coordinating staff and member onboarding and engagement, and contributing to recruitment and retention efforts. This role ensures that well-prepared, supported teams can deliver high-quality, community-based services to youth and families across Maryland. The position requires strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills, and a commitment to The Choice Program’s anti-racist, trauma-informed, and youth-centered values. |
