    • Grants Specialist - Sponsored Research, Post-Award (Contingent II) in UMBC Campus

      The Grant Specialist is a member of the College of Engineering and Information Technology's Shared Services Center and will support the Post-Award Sponsored Research Team. The position will be responsible for overseeing, managing, reporting and analyzing a portfolio of grants and other faculty accounts. The position provides direct support for a range of departments within COEIT for all financial and fiscal matters related to sponsored and non-sponsored activities.

    • Laboratory Animal Technician in UMBC Campus

      The incumbent will maintain care and treatment of animals according to standard operating procedures and to ensure compliance with federal rules and regulations. Specific duties include: daily health checks, treatments, sample collections, breeding and cage changes; updating room logs; Animal medical procedures as directed by the veterinary staff, ensuring cleanliness of mice/rat facilities; assisting in the cage wash rooms - dumping and/or filling cages - as needed and performing other duties as assigned. The incumbent will provide technical support for studies including animal handling and restraint, weaning, timed mating, tail snips, ear tagging, injections blood/tissue collections, surgical preparations, and post-operative observations etc.

    • Provost Chief of Staff in UMBC Campus

      As the Chief of Staff for the Office of the Provost, this position will execute significant strategic, operational and cultural agendas calling for considerable change on behalf of the Provost. The Chief of Staff will be primarily responsible for ensuring that the agenda of the Provost is executed, which includes but is not limited to time management, communications, and acting as one of their primary advisors.

    • Academic Program Specialist in UMBC Campus

      Under general supervision, the incumbent is expected to support the goals of the Registrar’s Office and Enrollment Management and to provide customer service and maintain records in accordance with standard business processes. Responsible for using and maintaining complex relational databases and systems including PeopleSoft Student Administration.

    • Arts Management Specialist in UMBC Campus

      The Arts Management Specialist will support UMBC's efforts to raise the visibility of its programs and public events in the visual and performing arts. Through marketing and communications, the Arts Management Specialist will develop new audiences for events and will strengthen engagement with existing audiences.
