| Responsibilities: |
The UMBC Department of Human Resources and Strategic Talent Management (HRSTM) has an opportunity for a temporary position working 24-40 hours per week assisting with education verification and criminal background checks. The ideal candidate will have an investigative instinct, an eye for detail and the ability to track data from multiple sources. Position will work approximately 24-40 hours per week. Position is Monday to Friday during core business hours. A flexible schedule is available. A hybrid work schedule may be available after training.

Note: Additional related experience in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience. |

Hourly Salary Range: Minimum: $22.90 to Maximum: $29.68, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. |
