The Student Affairs Communications and Marketing department works to elevate the awareness of our vibrant campus life, advance our division's shared story, cultivate student talent and development, and develop shared practices for technology and digital environments. 

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Director of Student Affairs Creative Services, the PM is responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on message, time, and budget in a way that supports the mission of the Division of Student Affairs, including student engagement, a sense of belonging, and supported university initiatives. The project manager will also provide consultation for design and production requests submitted by campus partners, ensuring the projects' success.

Telework:

A hybrid telework schedule may be available. 

Responsibilities:
  • Primary responsibilities/duties of the position.  
  • Provide consultation and manage the discovery process for all design requests and production submitted to the studio.
  • Manage and develop project blueprints in the project management platform to include onboarding new users, project plans, deliverables, timelines, budget, and project updates.
  • Set and monitor production schedules for submitted projects.
  • Work with the design team to identify user needs and create a strategy for templates and digital assets.
  • Collaborate on creative or project brief development with members of the marketing and creative services teams.
Required Minimum Qualifications:

Education Required:

Bachelor’s degree preferably in business administration, marketing, graphic design, or a related field.

Experience Required:

  • Two years of project management experience including experience with project management tools, methodologies, or software.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while adhering to deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications: 

Experience Preferred:

  • Four to five years of project management experience including experience with project management tools, methodologies or software.
  • Project management certification.
  • Experience working within a marketing or creative services department.
  • Proficiency in WordPress, Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
