Position Overview: |
The Contract Administrator performs procurement and contract management activities on assigned categories of goods and services, including all aspects of transactions from client needs analysis, design of procurement methodology, determination of selection criteria, Negotiations, award, contract management and contract closure. The incumbent will handle procurements in specific areas as assigned by the Executive Director.

Responsibilities: |
Specific duties include:
- Draft specifications and supplier qualifications for solicitations after researching end users’ needs to provide clear and well defined scopes of work, deliverables and other elements to ensure that appropriate measures are included for award and administration of the resulting contract.
- Communicate and settle differences on critical points and specific contractual provisions.
- Establish best practices for contract administration for assigned contracts and review/update on a periodic basis.
- Perform contract administration on awarded contracts, including exercising renewal options and monitoring supplier performance.
- Disseminate technical procurement advice and assistance to end user by applying policies to each particular purchase and assisting with purchase processes and electronic systems.
- Perform in-depth market research, risk assessment, evaluation and negotiation.
- Actively management of post-award activities such as change orders, invoice processing, performance tracking, compliance audits, dispute resolution, and contract closeout, guaranteeing adherence to terms and efficient execution.
- Maintaining transparent communication with all stakeholders to maximize contract effectiveness and mitigate risks.

Required Minimum Qualifications: |
- Bachelor's Degree
- Five years of related experience
|
Preferred Qualifications: |
- Experience with contract administration in Higher Education
- CPPB, CPPO or similar procurement certification
|

Salary starts at $93,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Hours:
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
