Position Overview:

This position will be a member of the Office of the Provost reporting directly to the Associate Provost for Financial Management and will be responsible for supporting the Provost and other faculty within the Academic Affairs Other Units with financial and administrative pre and post-award support on grant proposal submissions.

Telework:

A hybrid telework schedule may be available.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide budgetary and administrative support for faculty who are submitting proposals for grant funding.
  • Provide post-award support and reporting on all research related accounts and activities within the College, including sponsored, Self-Support, foundation, and all other research accounts. 
  • Recommend processes and procedures for the Office of the Provost Shared Services Center and collaborating with the team to implement them.
  • Prepare reports and analysis for leadership and PI as needed. 
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience Required: 3 years of progressive experience in Project Management, grant administration, budgeting, financial analysis, reconciliation, financial reporting, forecasting, and other related accounting/finance/analytical
    responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Previous work with Grant Proposals
  • Past experience with administering faculty grants (reconcile, budget; report)
