Responsibilities: |
The incumbent will update student records and provide front line coordination and support for the customer services operations of the Registrar's office.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinates and responds to a high volume of inquiries regarding student records, enrollment verifications and registration
- Making adjustments to students' records, which include but not limited to, undergraduate declaration of major, grade changes, name and address changes and records notations
- Answering customer service inquiries via RT, email and phone
- Orientation support
- Coordinates Inter-Institutional Enrollment with UMBC and other MD institutions
- Assists students with using parchment transcript request service and registration systems
- Other duties as assigned

Required Minimum Qualifications: |
- Bachelor's Degree
- Prior work experience in a service delivery environment
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to interpret and explain policy and procedural information
- Basic word processing and data entry skills
- Ability to work in a variety of online environments
- High level of attention to detail and organization
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work individually and collaboratively
- Meet deadlines and communicate effectively with student and staff
- One year in administrative staff work

Preferred Qualifications: |
- Prior work experience in higher education in an academic records or registration setting.
- Experience with PeopleSoft and comfort in learning new web content management systems.
|

Salary: |
Pay Range 9 (minimum: $46,736 maximum: $77,077) based on the University System of Maryland (USM) Pay Program.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, Memorandum of Understanding, USM Board of Regent policies, internal equity, budget and qualifications and experience. Most salary offers will be close to the minimum part of the range.
The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
