Responsibilities: |
The incumbent will provide front line support for the customer service operations of the Registrar's Office.
The General Assistant will:
- Provide customer service by greeting visitors and answering phones.
- Process declaration of majors forms.
- Assist with Undergraduate Graduation process.
- Assist with Transfer rule verification project.
- Monitor, respond and route a high volume of emails.
- Coordinates and executes responses to a high volume of inquiries regarding student records, registration, transfer credit and graduation.
After training, telework may be available.
Schedule will tentatively be Monday-Friday 8:30-12:30 (20 hours per week).

Required Minimum Qualifications: |
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years of clerical experience
|
Preferred Qualifications: |
- One year experience in higher education
|
Background Screening Statement: |
A background check will be required.

Salary: |
Hourly rate is $20/hour and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
