The inaugural Director of Student Affairs Staff Culture and Professional Wellbeing will lead efforts across the division to enhance staff wellbeing and foster an environment where staff are engaged, healthy, and empowered to be their best self. The Director will be a leader and collaborator in change management and organizational development and learning, creating a national model for supporting Student Affairs staff and a culture of wellbeing across the division. They will develop a strategic vision for training, onboarding, professional development, and staff engagement opportunities, working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, the Student Affairs Leadership Team, the Director of Planning and Assessment, the Student Affairs Business Services team, and UMBC Human Resources. This position reports to the Associate Vice President and Chief of Staff.

Learning & Development Specialist in UMBC Campus
The Learning & Development Specialist will play a key role in advancing the mission of the Community and Culture Unit within the Division of Institutional Equity (DOIE) at UMBC. The Specialist is a culture builder who will foster an inclusive campus environment and changed behaviors through educational initiatives, dialogue facilitation, direct programming, and meaningful engagement with students, faculty, and staff. Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Community and Culture, the Specialist will champion and celebrate inclusive excellence across the university.
