Position Overview: |
As Faculty Ombuds Officer at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, the incumbent would receive concerns, complaints and inquiries regarding a broad range of employment related issues from faculty. The Faculty Ombuds Officer offers active listening and assistance identifying resources and potential paths to resolution. The Ombuds Officer remains impartial, operates independently from other institutional offices, and maintains confidentiality except where reporting is required by law. The Faculty Ombudsperson reports directly to the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs. |

Salary: $114,500 - $129,500 depending on qualifications and experience. The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. |
