The Coordinator will be responsible for providing overall pre- transfer advising to prospective students as a means to help our prospective students develop an academic plan of action for transfer into their undergraduate program of choice. Specific duties include strategic planning and implementation of recruitment strategies, programming, and events as well as application tracking and support.

    The Psychologist provides services designed to promote the mental health and well-being of our campus and support students’ academic and personal success through mental health services and promotion, training and consultation. UMBC counseling staff are responsible for providing counseling services for students experiencing personal, social and emotional difficulties that may impede academic progress.

  • Senior Grant Specialist in UMBC Campus

    This position will be a member of the College’s Shared Services Center, within the Pre-Award Team. This position, reporting to the Director of the Center, will be primarily responsible for administrative and budget support on grant proposal submissions. The position will work with faculty to create, collect, review, upload, and transmit documents necessary for routing proposal requests for new research funding. This includes working with various departments across campus, departments at collaborating universities outside of UMBC, external contractors, and program sponsors at federal, state and private agencies.
