Upward Bound Program The University of Maryland, Baltimore County Upward Bound Program is a federally funded high school college readiness project designed to provide assistance for low-income and first-generation participants. The purpose of the program is to generate in program participants the skills and motivation necessary to complete a program of secondary education and to enter and succeed in a program of postsecondary education. The project serves students enrolled in Chesapeake, Overlea, Parkville, and Kenwood High Schools. The position requires providing instruction to high school students during the 2025 six (6) week summer component. The program is held from June 23 - July 25, 2025. |

Responsibilities: |
The University of Maryland, Baltimore County Upward Bound Program are seeking qualified secondary school Instructors to facilitate the following high-school level core and elective subjects: 1) English 2) Science 3) Math 4) SAT Prep 5) College Admissions 6) Foreign Language

Required Minimum Qualifications: |

Preferred Qualifications: |
Master's degree and current Secondary teaching certification preferred. |

$30 hourly rate The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. |
