University Marketing works in partnership with administrative and academic units across campus to promote the UMBC brand, attract students, and position the university among key stakeholders and constituents. |

Position Overview: |
The Arts Management Specialist will support UMBC's efforts to raise the visibility of its programs and public events in the visual and performing arts. Through marketing and communications, the Arts Management Specialist will develop new audiences for events and will strengthen engagement with existing audiences. Working across divisional lines with the university's arts departments and centers, Institutional Advancement, Student Affairs and other units, the Arts Management Specialist will facilitate campus partnerships leading to the success of public arts events, and will provide key planning and tactical support for those public arts events. This position reports directly to the Director of Arts and Culture within the Division of University Communications and Marketing (UCM). |

Salary: $61,000 - $67,000 depending on qualifications and experience. The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. |
