    The University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) is seeking an Associate Athletic Trainer to join the Department of Athletics, Sports Medicine and Performance. Reporting to the Associate Athletic Director for Sports Medicine and Performance, the Associate Athletic Trainer will provide comprehensive athletic training services to NCAA Division I student-athletes while collaborating with physicians, coaches, sports performance staff, and other healthcare professionals to promote the health, safety, and performance of student-athletes.

  • Operations and Communications Coordinator in UMBC Campus

    The iHARP Coordinator supports the day-to-day administrative and program operations of the center and helps ensure that center activities are carried out consistently and on schedule. The position coordinates routine administrative workflows, serves as a primary operational contact for faculty, students, fellows, OCAM, partner institutions, and external collaborators, and tracks administrative requirements associated with multi-institutional research activities. The Coordinator also plans and supports workshops, conferences, meetings, communications, and dissemination activities; assists with personnel, payroll, procurement, travel, and proposal-related administrative actions; and maintains center records and inventory information. Through timely coordination, sound administrative judgment, and effective communication, the position supports iHARP's research, education, collaboration, and outreach mission.

    The Manager, Post Award Operations is responsible for leadership, oversight, and management of the operational functions of the Office of Contract and Grant Accounting (OCGA) related to sponsored awards. The position manages the University's post-award administration activities and supervises staff responsible for a diverse portfolio. The manager also serves as a key liaison across campus and to external agencies.

    Join the UMBC Sports Medicine team and make a meaningful impact on the health, well-being, and performance of Division I student-athletes. The Assistant Athletic Trainer will provide comprehensive, patient-centered health care to assigned UMBC athletic teams while working collaboratively with team physicians, athletic trainers, sports performance professionals, and other members of our multidisciplinary health care team. This position plays an integral role in injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, emergency care, and return-to-sport while developing strong relationships with student-athletes and supporting their overall health and well-being. The successful candidate will join a collaborative Sports Medicine and Sports Performance department that values professional growth, communication, innovation, and providing an exceptional student-athlete experience.
