Reporting to the Associate Athletic Director for Internal Operations, the Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for providing Event Management services for applicable sports.

The incumbent will assist in general repairs to all athletic facilities; assist with light billing; and be responsible for hiring, training and supervising event staff. This position will require clerical work and the need to coordinate logistical matters for visiting teams as they pertain to practices, parking and competitions. The incumbent will perform a variety of duties related to event management, including: scheduling, set up/break down, coordinating operations meetings and completing various projects as assigned. The position will assist with the athletic master calendar and be responsible for ancillary areas of event management including security, catering, service, deliveries, signage etc.     

Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Master's Degree in a related area
  • Experience related to NCAA event management/or operation in venue management
  • General knowledge of NCAA guidelines and regulations
  • Oversight of event security/ticket takers/ushers
  • Proper knowledge and execution of various athletic events as they pertain to emergency action plans, officials, conference rules, visiting team liaison and overall point of contact for any of variances thereof.
