The General Assistant will: Provide customer service by greeting visitors and answering phones Processing declaration of majors forms Assist with Undergraduate Graduation process Assist with Transfer rule verification project Duties include monitoring, responding to and routing a high volume of email. The position coordinates and executes responses to a high volume of inquiries regarding student records, registration, transfer credit, and graduation. After training, telework may be available. Schedule will tentatively be Monday-Friday 8:30am-12:30pm (20 hours per week) Required Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED 3 years of clerical experience Preferred Qualifications: One Year experience in higher education. Screening of Applications Begins: This position is open until filled. Salary: Hourly rate starts at $20/hour and is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Hours: Part Time (20 hours/week) Type: Temporary, Contingent I Additional Information: This is a temporary position. Initial contract is for 12 months with the possibility of renewal.
