Position Overview:

The Department of Psychology seeks an Undergraduate Program Coordinator to provide support for student recruitment, admission, retention, and promotion in the undergraduate program.

Telework:

A hybrid telework schedule may be available.

Responsibilities:
  • Designing, coordinating, and carrying out programs, events, and other resource dissemination
  • Recruiting and promoting the undergraduate program
  • Gathering and analyzing data for undergraduate progress and retention
  • Forecasting course demand and assisting in developing the schedule of classes
  • Supporting the undergraduate program and department through administrative support
  • Department administrative support
Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Psychology
  • Ability to work with a diverse student population
  • Experience and comfort with oral presentation skills
  • Experience and comfort with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience and comfort with working with large datasets
  • Experience and comfort with professional use of social media
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • UMBC Graduate Preferred
  • Experience with PeopleSoft preferred
  • Experience with Excel Pivot tables preferred

Salary:

Salary: $50,000 - $56,000 depending on qualifications and experience.

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.

The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
