Position Overview:

Reporting to the Plumbing Shop Supervisor, the Plumber will perform plumbing services at the journeyman level and assist in the maintenance and repair of our 512-acre campus, which includes over four million square feet of facility space.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Plumbing Shop Supervisor, the Plumber will perform plumbing services at the journeyman level and assist in the maintenance and repair of our 512-acre campus, which includes over four million square feet of facility space.

Specific duties include:

  • Installing, maintaining and repairing plumbing services for water, gas, sewer, storm and drain systems;
  • Operating related equipment and pipelines;
  • and performing other duties as assigned
Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • Four years progressively responsible experience in the plumbing trade
  • Maryland State certification as a licensed journeyman plumber
  • Valid non-commercial Class C or equivalent driver's license
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Valid certification for Backflow Device Testing and Repair preferred
