Position Overview: |
This position will be responsible for overseeing, reviewing, and approving payroll and HR related tasks, assisting with procurement and payment requests, and other reimbursement activities for all departments supported by the COEIT SSC.

Telework: |
A hybrid telework schedule may be available.

Responsibilities: |
- Review and approve payroll and HR forms for completeness and accuracy verifying position attributes and funding source are correct.
- Enter requisitions, receipts/invoices, payment requests, and reimbursements into the system.
- Review and complete travel reimbursements.
- Address faculty, staff, and student inquiries and follow up when needed.
- Review and approve Time Entry verifying adjustments are entered correctly and appropriate documentation is presented for review/approval.
- Assist in overseeing the service tickets in the Shared Service Center queues managed by our office and follow up with staff to make sure tickets are being addressed promptly and within assigned due dates.
- Supervise assigned employees, provide feedback on their work product, prepare performance evaluations and provide or suggest training as needed.
- Recommend process improvements and collaborate with the team to discuss and/or implement them.

Required Minimum Qualifications: |
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Alternatively, a combination of completed credit hours toward a Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of the degree on a year-for-year basis with one year of experience being equivalent to 30 college credits.
- Three years of relevant experience in payroll, procurement, travel, etc.

- Experience identifying payroll/salary issues.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Expertise in Excel and Office products.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills.

Salary: |
Salary: $78,000 - $84,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
